Doctor of Philosophy in Intercultural Studies
The PhD in Intercultural Studies program is interdisciplinary in nature as it combines social sciences, history, and theology in understanding particular contexts and realities for the purpose of doing God’s mission or missio Dei. It aims to equip missionaries and Christian leaders by providing opportunities to reflect on their experiences, to do original research, and to integrate their learning in their ministries as missiologists.

Doctor of Philosophy in Holistic Child Development
This program exists to equip leaders, teachers, child advocates and pastors who have the skills and capacity to care holistically for children inside and outside the church.

Doctor of Philosophy in Transformational Development
Transformational Development seeks to catalyze action among local churches, NGOs and systems in complex societies within Asia and byeond, working with all known resources (especially and including the indentifies poor), to improve the quality of life and society’s structure and institutions in order to demonstrate God’s love to all.

Master of Theology/ Doctor of Philosophy in
Biblical Studies
The program is an integrated Th.M. and Ph.D. designed to help students in Asia understand the Word of God in the original languages (Hebrew and Greek) and apply the lessons learned in the Asian context. Participants are encouraged to actively participate in the local church while pursuing theological education.

Doctor of Philosophy in Transformational Learning
The PhD in Transformationational Learning is designed to assist a new generation of faculty & educational leaders as they develop teaching, learning & leading approaches that result in transformational learning in diverse persons, institutions & cultures of particular interest to those interested in preparing to teach or provide educational leadership in colleges, seminaries or other faith based organizations.

Master of Theology/ Doctor of Philosophy in Theological Studies
The ThM is a research-oriented degree that builds on an MDiv or sometimes, with supplemental coursework, an MA. The PhD is a research-oriented degree that builds on an earned Master’s degree. It is the most advanced degree in the fields of Theological Studies, and is intended for those who engage in intensive and original research in a specific academic discipline.

Greetings AGST! I’m Craig Kraft. I’m the Director of Collaboration for OC Global Alliance and a graduate of Asia Graduate School of Theology in the program of Intercultural Studies. I signed up for Doctor Program when I made a transition from Pastoral ministry into missions. And working as Missions Executive, I’ve had a lot of experience with leadership development and biblical skills but very little in the area of Missiology and Intercultural Studies, and was thrilled with the education I received. Evelyn Ramos Pajaron
Hi! I’m Evelyn Ramos Pajaron. I finished my PhD in Holistic Child Development in one of AGST institutions in 2019. My time at AGST was instrumental in getting our Ministry Family Life Philippines reach out the grassroots level of parents and families in our society. My dissertation product named PForce .14 lessons. Transformative and interactive curriculum design towards evidence practice is now being used in public schools, in churches, and communities. The facilitator’s manual and Parent’s handbook has been translated to several major dialects. So that we can reach more and train more facilitators throughout the country. Parents who have undergone the program who have experienced transformation have also become the promoted and volunteers for bringing that program to other schools and communities as well. I’m really glad that high quality programs with scholar practitioner and faculty members are being offered to Asians right here in the country where those of us are in the field gets more equipped for the work that God has called us to do. So, as you celebrate 40th Anniversary, I pray that AGST Philippines will continue to flourish with generous fundings for continued development and scholarships. For with faculty members who inspire and equip and produce scholars who are more attuned to the needs of the people that we are trying to reach and with more students who heart’s desire is to be real used of God wherever God has placed them.
